Thought we'd try Fields & Ivy again... Last time we waited over an hour for a small pizza. This time we ordered from the restaurant week menu. Our waitress definitely didn't want to be there... I get it... I didn't either. Especially after waiting half hour for a water.
The pazole soup was cold.
The chipotle chicken pizza was just bad. The crust was hard and dry.
WHY ARE FRIES $10 ?!?!???
Certainly would enjoy a return visit great food and atmosphere. There was a little boy eating flowers in their garden area. He also drank out of one of the planters. It was highly entertaining. Don’t know that there was much to do with the actual Fields and Ivy folks that made it entertaining, but there were some parents who decided they didn’t want to watch their kids or take responsibility for them running wild in the place.
Came here for my wife’s work Christmas party. The food was fantastic. Atmosphere and ambiance was very nice. Entire place was very clean. Large TVs for all your game day viewing. Our waitress and I forgot her name was outstanding! Fantastic Customer Service! Thank you we will be back.
Not my favorite brewery in town, but they have some good deals Wed-Fri (core beers are $4). They make an excellent porter that I recommend (one of the only places in town that actually make an excellent porter). Their food, especially their pizza, is delicious. Great outdoor patio in the back during the summer, where you can play 4-square, corn hole (bags), etc. It’s a good time and way to spend an evening with good friends.
We are from Wisconsin and came to the Lawrence area to visit family. Decided to check out a local brewery while in town to visit. Popped into this quant local spot and am very pleased with my choice. If you are looking for a great high quality pizza then this is the place for you. The beer is solid, I definitely recommend the skeleton theory #13. As great as the food and beer are, there is one thing that greatly sets this place apart from others. The service here was phenomenal!!!! Dakota was our server and I can not say enough amazing things about her. She is such a happy uplifting woman that made our dining experience. So friendly and knowledgeable, she is what every server should be. Dakota is a great asset to the brewery and others should strive to be like her. We had such an amazing overall experience we will be coming back here on future trips. I highly recommend this brewery.
Went with friends and partner to have diner. They were quick to seat us and take our orders, but sadly we were then forgotten for a good 45 minutes. We had ordered seveal meals and two appetizers. It all came out together at the same time right when we were about to ask what was taking so long. Not much point to appetizers when were sitting there starving for almost an hour waiting. Forgot to ask for a drink refill when the brought the food, and the servers seemed too busy elsewhere and I ended up just drinking water. We couldn't catch their attention again until we were asking for checks. The food was OK, but extremely salty. We didn't drink alcohol, so I know that made a difference in taste. The dry sandwich bread and overly salty food made the lack of drink refills more apparent. Salads were good. Can't speak on the alcohol because we didn't have any. Nothing stood out to make me want to return for the food. Seems the alcoholic drinks here are what shines and probably helps make the salty food tastey.
Their pizzas are really good!! I've had better carnitas tacos, to be honest. They had a lemon brew that was surprisingly good.
I had a beer craving so decided to try Fields & Ivy. The pint of Octoberfest was exactly what I wanted. My family and I enjoyed the beer pretzels- I especially loved the beer mustard dip. The pizza and burger were good and the music mix made everything so enjoyable that we got dessert. So glad we did! The apple strudel was fantastic! Good service and good food. We will definitely come back!
